We hire bikes from Nelson, Mapua Wharf, Hokitika, and Cromwell.

Rental Bikes can only be transported on suitable bike carriers. We reserve the right to cancel a booking at the point of pickup if the carrier does not meet our standards.
If required, please inquire with us to book transport or contact us to check your bike carrier.
The carrier must:
Have bike mounting that reduces the chance for bike-to-bike interference and damage.
Have sufficient weight capacity to carry the bikes.
For reference, our trail comfort bikes weigh approximately 15kg each, and our electric bikes weigh approximately 25-30kg.

Dual suspension E-Bikes

3 Hours: $140

Our Scott and Haibike dual suspension e-Bikes a packing the new Bosch cx performance motor and a 625Wh battery. We have 2 x Extra Large, 5 x Large, 3 x medium and 1 x small sizes. Most bikes are fitted with a 625 watt battery and a 500 watt range booster battery (excluding size small). Aero bike packing bags available on request.

Hardtail mountain E-Bikes

3 Hours: $110
Full Day: $130

The discrete, internally mounted 625W PowerTube battery and 250W Bosch Performance Line CX motor will save your legs for the climb to the top of the trails.

Dual suspension Trail E-Bike

KTM Chacana

The Chacana is a full suspension electric trail bike from the renowned Austrian company, KTM Bike Industries. The rear suspension means this bike can handle semi rough terrain, while the lights, fenders and carrier means that it can be used in a much wider range of scenarios than a typical off-road bike.

This model is supplied with a carrier rack, lights and mudguards (LFC).

Step Through Trail E-Bikes

Amazingly fun and very easy to ride. These high end Bosch powered E-Bikes allow you to choose the level of assistance required.
Ideal for our tours if you feel that you can’t keep up, or for people with medical conditions that can’t normally ride. Pannier bags fit on the rear carrier perfectly. NB: These bikes are unisex. NB: Bike may alter from picture shown.

The Kids can now tour with mum and dad and keep up. These are ideal for kids aged 9 - 12 years old, or for heights ranging from 140cm - 165cm

Long Travel Mountain Bikes

Comes equipped with the Scott TwinLoc Suspension System, a Sram Eagle groupset and Syncros components. Perfect for those wanting a higher level of bike with longer travel, for the mountain bike parks and trails around Nelson. Available in Large and medium.

Scott Genius/Spark

The Scott Genius and Spark have a super light alloy frame, as well as a front and rear fork/shock lockout allowing for a more optimized ride. It’s lightweight, durable, frame retains all the great geometry and ride of its Carbon cousins. This is a solid all round performing trail bike!

Merida and Scott Hardtails

Our standard Hard tail Mountain bike designed so riders of all skill levels can enjoy an adventure in the great outdoors. With a range of sizes up to large, these come with a 27.5 inch wheel. Frame size XL comes with a 29 inch wheel.

The European-made Gepida Thoris with the premium Bosch drive system is a comfortable and practical solution for couples who want to ride together.
